Well, you certainly will have a lot of allies among the educational establishment for whom accountability is anathema.

Could be. Of course, there will be no way to verify this &quot;better education&quot; unless one gives standardized, er, exams. And since nobody can agree nationwide on what this &quot;content&quot; should be, there will be no possible way to get (or even define) metrics to show how if we are producing &quot;better educated students.&quot; And certainly no way to compare our students to other nations we will be competing with in this flat world. Sounds perfect! You can indeed expect wide support from the educational establishment.

From parents? Not so much.</description>
